z/OS Systems Programmer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote z/OS Systems Programmer with strong GDPS experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and configure DS8K storage, including Metro Mirror and Global Mirror replication
• Perform updates to PARMLIB and PROCLIB, and support compliance for new LPARs
• Deliver GDPS training and knowledge transfer to engineering and operations teams

Required Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with IBM Z, GDPS, and DS8K storage
• Strong knowledge of NetView, System Automation (z/SA), and REXX
• Experience in regulated industries with strict compliance requirements
• Proven ability to lead technical discussions and training sessions
• Able to engage professionally with clients and navigate complex environments
