Z/OS Systems Programmer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Z/OS Systems Programmer to provide support for secure mainframe infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day systems programming support for z/OS and related IBM and third-party products
• Install, configure, and upgrade z/OS components including JES2, TCP/IP, and RACF
• Perform system performance monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting using relevant tools

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a z/OS Systems Programmer in large enterprise environments
• Strong expertise with Sysplex, Coupling Facility, JES2, and related technologies
• Proficiency in COBOL, Assembler, and REXX for utilities and automation
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience
• Must be able to obtain or maintain a public trust
