z/TPF Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a z/TPF Specialist (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and problem resolution for z/TPF hardware and software in the IRS processing environments
• Support the TPF Control Program, including applying Program Update Tape (PUT) and system generation tasks
• Develop and maintain ECC specific procedures and checklists while adhering to corporate security policies

Required Qualifications

• Experience with IBM z/TPF Operating Systems, including installation and maintenance
• Knowledge of the IRS z/TPF and SACS processing environments
• Expertise on the z/VM Operating System
• Proficiency in IBM programming languages: High-Level Assembler, "C", C++, and COBOL
• Must be a US citizen or hold a 3-year green card and pass a background check for public trust and tax compliance
