Job Summary
Translating enterprise Zero Trust Use Cases into executable implementation activities, the full-time remote Zero Trust Engineer will assess system applicability, develop engineering plans, and support technical implementation for Government-prioritized VA information systems.
Key responsibilities
- Assess applicability of Zero Trust Use Cases to assigned FISMA-reportable systems
- Develop system-specific Engineering and Implementation Plans and prepare related documentation
- Support technical implementation, validation, and transition of completed implementations into sustainable operations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
- Five or more years of experience in systems, security, cloud, network, identity, or application engineering
- Hands-on experience with enterprise security capabilities in complex environments
- Working knowledge of Zero Trust architectures and Federal security requirements
- Strong skills in troubleshooting, testing, and technical documentation
