Job Summary

Seeking a remote zTPF Systems Engineering Manager, the full-time position will lead a technical team responsible for the zTPF operating system and mainframe infrastructure, ensuring high-quality technical delivery and operational stability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a technical team focused on zTPF operating system and mainframe hardware management
• Provide functional leadership for zTPF platform capabilities, including system modifications and maintenance
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align product management roadmaps with technical strategies and staffing capacity

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in leading teams that develop and support zTPF operating systems and infrastructure
• Strong understanding of IBM software and hardware technologies, including zTPF control program internals
• Ability to manage operating models, timelines, and budgets using corporate management tools
• Knowledge of zTPF development and testing tools, such as zTPFGI and IBM Toolkit
• Familiarity with ITIL principles and processes
