Ability to do independent research including of governmental and foundation databases. Minimum 2 years' experience as assistant to C-level Executive. Experienced in Quickbooks; light bookkeeping required. Tech savvy: Proficient in all MS Office products and Apple/Mac.
Knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles. Must have a hands-on working knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software. Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing.
3+ years professional bookkeeping experience, preferably in a non-profit organization. Extensive knowledge of QuickBooks Online required. Payroll administration experience (preferably ADP) as well as benefit management experience required. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel required.
Willing to do entry-level bookkeeping, work hard, and learn. Excellent written skills, able to catch grammar and spelling errors/CSS. Must have reliable internet and power (maximum of 1 hour of outage per month) Excellent verbal skills; well-spoken, clear and direct.
