A healthcare system is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Medical Physicist in the Midlands Region. Core Responsibilities Include: Providing physics calculation and support for Radiation Oncology and Radiology services.
Perform clinical and medical reviews, data collection and database entry. Provide supporting reference documentation to the reviewer. Apply state laws during the Quality Assurance process. Skills and Requirements Include: Ability to travel at least 10% of time based on business needs.
Performs audits of medical records to ensure all assigned ICD-9 codes are accurate. Effectively communicates the audit process and results to the appropriate departments and management. Remains current on ICD-9 codes, CMS documentation requirements, and State and Federal regulations.
Skills and Requirements Include: Travel as needed. Graduate of a medical school, actively licensed to practice medicine. Board-certified psychiatrist. APA or SAMSA experience. Completion of approved residency in Psychiatry. Licensed to practice medicine.
Applicants must meet the following qualifications: Ability to travel. 5+ yrs. experience as Data Manager (or proven managerial experience) Medical/Nursing, Life Science/Mathematical Degree or relevant experience.
Position Requirements Include: Active Full Medical License in KS or CO with willingness to license in additional states as needed. Board Certification or Eligibility in General Psychiatry. Experience or Board Certification in Psychosomatic Medicine or Emergency Medicine Psychiatry is ideal.
7-10 years of experience working on Ambulatory, Clinical, Financial or Revenue Cycle Applications. 5-7 years’ experience working in the healthcare/medical environment. Experience working with project life cycle and project management methodologies.
Collaborating with other health care givers in reviewing actual and proposed medical care and services. Managing network participation, care with specialty networks, care with DME providers, and transfers to alternative levels of care. Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
