A clinical documentation company is seeking a Telecommute Certified Physician Services Coder. Core Responsibilities of this position include: Providing coding and abstracting services for clients. Reviewing medical records to identify pertinent diagnoses and procedures.
An education company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Psychiatry Physician in the Dallas Area. Must be able to: Write and edit content for the company's web-based products. Develop clinical vignettes for question banks.
Two to three years of experience with physician interaction and customer service or account management experience. Two to three years HIM, CDI or Coding, EMR/EHR implementation or other physician supporting roles. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Must be able to: Provide physician review services for utilization management, case management, and quality management. Develop maintain and assure compliance with physician review policies and procedures for utilization management.
Supporting physician decision-making. Position Requirements Include: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and highly relevant experience. Current, unrestricted license as an LPN or RN. Previous experience in Managed Care, Utilization Management.
Identify the appropriate assignment of CPT and ICD-10 Codes for physician and facility services. Perform coding duties as appropriate according to predetermined schedules. Skills and Requirements Include: High School Diploma/GED. Coding credential required (RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC)
Develop, maintain and assure compliance with physician review policies and procedures. Support collaborative relationships with physicians. Required Skills: Travel: Yes, 10 % of the Time. Board Certified in an approved ABMS Medical Specialty. MD or DO degree.
Communicating, coordinating, and interviewing physician members. Required Skills: Must be within commuting distance of office located on the Red Line in NW DC to attend periodic team meetings. 4-year degree. Some proven experience in project management.
1-2 years of progressive experience in E/M and mulit specialty physician medical coding/reimbursement. Strong conceptual, as well as quantitative and qualitative analytical skills. Completion of a formal coding program with preference given to AAPC approved coding credential.
Providing comprehensive physician review solutions to payer and provider organizations. Applicants must meet the following qualifications: Must be certified with ABMS (American Board of Medical Specialties) - Allergist / Immunologist.
