Applicants must meet the following qualifications: Minimum 3 years of experience in medical transcription. Must be proficient in MS Word. Hardware/Software required: PC with at least 1 GB of RAM, Microsoft Office Version 2003 or any newer version, and up-to-date virus scanner.
Must be able to type and then proof your documents to 98% accuracy. Must have a PC that can run a transcription software package of your choosing, have a high speed Internet connection, and have good quality headphones and a foot pedal for audio play back.
Other duties as assigned. Required Skills: Must be able to listen, understand and type simultaneously. Knowledge of how to format text into client specific requests. At least a good working knowledge of computers and software programs. Strong attention to detail.
Have a minimum typing speed of 85 Impeccable professional references. Must have a headset, foot pedal, and transcription software. Must have Corel WordPerfect, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
