Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the 401(k) Compliance Analyst will independently perform retirement plan compliance testing, employer contribution calculations, and client-data analysis while managing an assigned workload and communicating testing outcomes to stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct annual non-discrimination testing and validate client data for compliance and contribution calculations
- Research and interpret ERISA, IRS, and DOL requirements, escalating complex issues as necessary
- Communicate testing results and corrective actions to internal stakeholders and clients while managing departmental reporting and deadlines
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in 401(k), retirement plan compliance testing, or related financial services
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP
- Ability to obtain ASPPA Retirement Plan Fundamentals (RPF) I within 6 months of hire
- 1+ year of client-facing experience in the financial services industry
