Job Summary
To support a growing team, the fully remote 401(k) Retirement Plan Consultant will manage day-to-day administration activities for a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance and delivering exceptional service.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned retirement plan clients, managing contributions, loans, and distributions
- Perform compliance testing and support annual compliance requirements, including Form 5500 preparation
- Research and resolve operational and compliance issues while maintaining accurate documentation in Pension Pro
Required qualifications
- Experience in 401(k) plan administration and retirement plan compliance
- Working knowledge of IRS and ERISA regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- ASPPA credentials or a desire to pursue professional certifications preferred
- Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills
