AAC Content Reviewer - Din bizaad

Job Summary

To support the development of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) content for the Din bizaad (Navajo) community, the part-time AAC Content Reviewer will edit and culturally adapt materials, ensuring linguistic accuracy and relevance while collaborating with an internal content developer in a fully remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and review AAC content for cultural accuracy and language use
• Adapt phrasing and vocabulary to align with local communication norms
• Provide expert insights from the perspective of the target regional AAC community

Required Qualifications

• Substantial experience in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
• Professional background in Speech-Language Pathology, Education, or Occupational Therapy
• Native speaker of Din bizaad with significant residence in the target region
• Fluent written proficiency in Din bizaad and English
• Reliable communication habits and responsiveness via email
