AAC Content Reviewer - Hmong
Job Summary
To support the development of culturally relevant communication tools, the part-time AAC Content Reviewer - Hmong will evaluate, refine, and adapt Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) content for the Hmong White community while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Edit and review AAC content for cultural accuracy and language use
- Adapt content to reflect local usage norms and communication needs
- Collaborate with an internal AAC Content Developer to ensure alignment with evidence-based language approaches
Required qualifications
- Substantial experience in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
- AAC Specialist or a professional background in Speech-Language Pathology, Education, or Occupational Therapy
- Native speaker of Hmong White with substantial residence in the target region
- Fluent written proficiency in Hmong White and fluency in English
- Reliable communication habits and responsiveness via email
