Academic Advisor

Job Summary

As a full-time remote Academic and Finance Advisor, the successful candidate will provide academic and financial assistance to students, managing their progress and connecting them with resources to ensure successful graduation outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage student load and complete daily tasks using the Roadrunner System and Student Portfolio Report
• Proactively identify at-risk students and connect them to appropriate resources for success
• Advise students on financial aid requirements and monitor their academic progress to ensure compliance with university policies

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of one year of experience in advising, customer service, or a related field
• Experience in student services or training and development in a collegial setting preferred
• Knowledge of financial aid programs and university policies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technology for online engagement
