Job Summary
Providing expert academic input, the part-time Academic Consultant - Business & Economics will support the development and quality assurance of the curriculum, assess student essays, and deliver individualized feedback, all while working fully remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Offer subject-matter consultation and advice on the academic content of the Business, Economics & Entrepreneurship Stream
- Review and ensure academic quality across lectures, seminars, and learning materials
- Assess student essays and provide detailed, constructive feedback within specified deadlines
Required qualifications
- A degree in a relevant discipline at Master's level or above, or confirmed acceptance onto a relevant Master's programme
- Deep subject knowledge in at least one area covered by the stream, with familiarity in related fields
- Experience teaching, lecturing, or assessing students at university or sixth-form level is desirable
- Proven ability to mark written work against set criteria and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Active research, publications, or industry experience that enhances the subject matter expertise
