Academic Designer

Job Summary

To support the development of high-quality educational content, the remote Academic Designer will plan and create curriculum materials for grades 9-12, collaborate with teams on solution design, and ensure alignment with curriculum standards.

Key responsibilities

• Planning and developing content for teacher and student materials, including lessons and resources
• Assisting in the creation of project proposals, prototypes, and documentation
• Acting as a liaison between vendors and internal teams to ensure project success

Required qualifications

• 5 years of experience in elementary product development, with a degree in elementary education preferred
• 5 or more years of classroom experience in elementary education
• 3 years of experience in building accessible content in digital authoring systems
• 3 years of experience meeting quality and accuracy standards under tight deadlines
