Academic Multimedia Developer

Job Summary

Designing and developing accessible digital learning experiences, the full-time Academic Multimedia Content Developer will collaborate with instructional designers and faculty to create multimedia resources that align with academic outcomes and support effective learning applications in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Apply instructional design principles to develop multimedia learning experiences aligned with course outcomes and student needs
• Collaborate with faculty and subject matter experts to clarify learning needs and translate academic requirements into development plans
• Produce and edit multimedia content using Adobe Creative Cloud and other tools, ensuring accessibility and instructional effectiveness

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in instructional design, educational technology, or a related field
• Five years of professional experience in instructional multimedia development or digital learning design
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and Articulate 360, particularly Rise 360
• Experience with HTML/CSS and learning management systems, including Blackboard Ultra
• Strong project management and organizational skills to handle multiple concurrent assignments
