Academic Transfer Specialist

Job Summary

Evaluating transfer credits and ensuring compliance with academic standards, the full-time remote Academic Transfer Specialist will manage the assessment of courses from other institutions to fulfill degree requirements at ECPI University.

Key responsibilities

• Utilizes TES evaluation system and other resources to complete transfer credit evaluations
• Processes received transcripts and student documents while ensuring compliance with FERPA and institutional policies
• Collaborates with team members to enhance departmental efficiency through training and project completion

Required qualifications

• A minimum of an Associate's degree from an accredited college or university; Baccalaureate degree preferred
• Preferred experience in higher education, particularly in records management or academic services
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Understanding of institutional structures and regulations in an educational environment
• Flexibility to learn new methodologies, technologies, and systems
