Accessibility Certified QA Tester
Job Summary
To support ongoing enhancements to applications used for monitoring education grant programs, the remote contract Senior QA Tester will perform manual and automated testing, develop and execute test plans, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with accessibility standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional, regression, user acceptance, usability, and accessibility testing
- Develop, execute, and maintain manual test cases, test scripts, and test documentation
- Collaborate with business analysts to clarify requirements and develop test scenarios
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA) and software testing
- Accessibility testing certification, such as CPACC, WAS, or an equivalent recognized credential
- Thorough understanding of accessibility principles and WCAG 2.2 AA standards
- Advanced proficiency in SQL queries and database validation
- Strong experience with API testing and web service validation
