Accommodation Specialist

Job Summary

Managing a high-volume caseload of workplace accommodation requests, the full-time remote Accommodation Specialist will guide employees and leaders through the interactive process, ensuring timely evaluations and resolutions while promoting an inclusive workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate the ADA interactive process by evaluating accommodation needs and identifying appropriate solutions
• Review medical documentation and assess functional limitations to determine reasonable accommodations
• Serve as the primary point of contact for managers and HR partners regarding accommodation requests and processes

Required qualifications

• Previous experience managing workplace accommodations and the ADA interactive process
• Strong knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and reasonable accommodation requirements
• Experience independently managing accommodation cases from intake through resolution
• Familiarity with leave of absence coordination and return-to-work processes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with HR information systems or case management platforms
