Account Director

Job Summary

Serving as the senior client lead, the full-time remote Account Director will provide strategic oversight and operational leadership across a high-profile medical publications and medical affairs portfolio, ensuring the seamless delivery of congress and journal publications while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and scientific rigor.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a large, complex medical affairs and publications account, ensuring consistent delivery excellence
• Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients as a strategic partner
• Oversee the end-to-end execution of abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and related publication assets

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences (advanced degree preferred)
• 6+ years of experience in medical communications, particularly in publications and medical affairs strategy
• Proven experience in leading teams and managing direct reports
• Strong project and financial management skills, including budgeting and forecasting
• Proficiency in platforms such as iEnvision and Veeva
