Account Manager, Health Plans

Job Summary

To support a growing enterprise, the full-time Account Manager, Health Plans will manage key payor relationships remotely, driving member utilization and expanding account offerings while serving as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of partners.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of payor partners, leading regular business reviews and maintaining executive-level connections
• Demonstrate SonderMind's value by building and delivering ROI stories using clinical outcomes and utilization data
• Identify and pursue expansion opportunities within accounts, including new geographies and lines of business

Required qualifications

• Minimum BA/BS in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related degree
• Minimum five years in strategic account management or payor-facing relationship management, ideally in healthcare
• Proven track record of growing accounts and increasing utilization within existing relationships
• Knowledge of managed care and familiarity with alternative payment models
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to create compelling value narratives from data
