Job Summary

Responsible for recovering charged-off accounts, the full-time Account Recovery Specialist will negotiate payment arrangements and settlements while working remotely, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and delivering a customer-focused experience.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls with consumers and authorized third parties
• Negotiate payments, settlements, and repayment plans while resolving account issues
• Utilize skip tracing tools to locate consumers and educate them on account status and resolution options

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of FDCPA and collection regulations
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Professional phone and basic computer skills
• Ability to manage difficult conversations and remain composed
