Account Servicing Specialist
Job Summary
Responsible for servicing auto loan accounts that are less than 30 days delinquent, the full-time Account Servicing Specialist will document collection activities, negotiate payment arrangements, and assist borrowers in maintaining their vehicle obligations, with opportunities for remote work available in Arizona and Nevada.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with company policies and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)
- Negotiate payment arrangements and propose alternative payment methods to borrowers
- Document account information and collection activities accurately and professionally
Required qualifications:
- 1+ year(s) of experience in collections, preferably in the subprime consumer lending industry
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required
- Ability to read and apply collections regulations
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
