Account Supervisor Media

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Account Supervisor Media, this position will manage healthcare media relations, develop strategic recommendations, and oversee junior team members while working remotely or from the New York office.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage media outreach, ensuring quality and timely execution of client deliverables
• Develop tailored media strategies and story angles based on client priorities and the healthcare landscape
• Coach and mentor junior colleagues, providing feedback and guidance on media execution and client communication

Required qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in healthcare media relations, preferably with Public Affairs, Pharma, and Biotech clients
• Proven ability to pitch journalists and secure meaningful media coverage through strategic outreach
• Strong writing and editing skills, with experience in drafting media materials such as pitches and talking points
• Ability to translate complex health information into clear, compelling narratives
• Familiarity with media research tools like Muck Rack or Cision, and a commitment to inclusive storytelling
