Accountant
Job Summary
To support financial operations, the full-time remote Accountant will manage accounts payable and receivable, prepare bank reconciliations, and analyze general ledger accounts.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries and month-end workpapers
- Review and process invoices, ensuring timely approvals and payment selections
- Reconcile various accounts, including vendor statements and credit card transactions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry
- Proficiency with Sage 300 Construction Software
- Competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Understanding of SOX guidelines for compliance and internal controls
