Job Summary
Supporting cash-related accounting processes for Medicaid Health Plans, the full-time remote Accountant I will manage cash accounting, prepare financial statements, and assist with month-end close activities.
Key responsibilities:
- Account for cash through deposits, applications, collections, and forecasting
- Assist in preparing financial reports and support month-end close processes
- Respond to inquiries regarding payments and evaluate account variances
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 0-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the healthcare industry
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP
