Accountant II
Job Summary
To support lease accounting functions, the full-time remote Accountant II will maintain lease accounting schedules, develop an understanding of related processes, and prepare analyses and journal entries while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key responsibilities
- Maintains lease accounting schedules in accordance with ASC 842
- Prepares weekly/monthly/quarterly analyses and related journal entries in support of lease accounting
- Reconciles balance sheet accounts and investigates variances in a timely manner
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Financial Accounting
- Minimum of one year of practical general ledger accounting experience, preferably in public or corporate accounting
- Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting is highly preferred
