Accountant - MN Licensed

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Accountant - MN Licensed will manage accounting functions for the healthcare system, including preparing and analyzing financial statements, journal entries, and grant accounting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepares, reconciles, and analyzes routine and complex financial statements and reports
• Conducts compliance verification and assists in the preparation of monthly financial statements and annual audits
• Reviews and administers financial terms of grants, including budgets and reporting requirements

Required qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited college with a major in accounting or business administration with an emphasis in accounting
• One to three years of general ledger experience in an automated environment preferred
• Strong spreadsheet skills, particularly in Excel
• Demonstrated knowledge of financial reporting systems
• Integrity and reliability in work ethic
