Job Summary
Supporting chapters using Shared Financial Services, the remote full-time Accountant Specialist will perform accounting functions to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, manage donation batches, and prepare financial statements.
Key responsibilities:
- Commit donation batches to Salesforce and post to NetSuite, ensuring accurate processing
- Prepare bank and balance sheet reconciliations, along with monthly financial reporting packages
- Assist with the annual audit process by gathering information and preparing audit workbooks
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience required
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or financial reporting preferred
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Salesforce and NetSuite is helpful
- Working knowledge of nonprofit organizations strongly preferred
