Accounting Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting AgCentric's policy accounting function, the full-time Premium Accounting Analyst will apply premium payments, initiate claim and commission payment records, and reconcile bank accounts while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Apply premium payments to policy records within the accounting system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Initiate claim and commission payment records based on system data and established procedures
• Reconcile bank accounts regularly, identifying and resolving discrepancies in coordination with the finance team

Required qualifications

• Associate degree or coursework in accounting, finance, or business preferred
• Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative support preferred
• MPCI or agricultural insurance industry experience is a plus
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software
