Accounting Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting employee and retiree benefit accounting, the full-time remote Accounting Analyst will prepare journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and conduct variance analysis while working with large datasets to ensure accurate financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and preparing accurate financial statements and reports
• Identifying and researching trends and developments in financial data
• Leading special projects and ad-hoc reporting requests while collaborating on process improvements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience (4 years in a related field)
• 3 years of work experience in an accounting or financial position
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Experience with employee benefit accounting and AI-enabled tools preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with senior leadership teams
