Accounting Analyst I

Job Summary

Preparing and maintaining financial records, the full-time Accounting Analyst I will analyze financial statements, research accounting issues, and prepare regulatory reports while working in-person at an office or remotely from an approved location.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and various reports for assigned companies
• Research complex accounting issues and provide recommendations for solutions
• Reconcile bank and general ledger accounts, identifying adjustments and corrective actions

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Experience in preparing financial statements and reports
• Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements and accounting principles
• Ability to validate accounting impacts from system changes
• Experience with deviation analysis for balance sheet and operating results
