Accounting Associate

Job Summary

To support the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, the part-time hourly Accounting Associate will provide finance-related support for education programs, ensuring compliance with contracting agencies and generating financial reports while collaborating with faculty and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate monthly iJournal submissions and track invoices for contracts and revenue-generating education programs
• Generate and manage financial reports on service agreements and oversee labor allocation schedules and adjustments
• Collaborate with the Education Program Administration team to improve business processes and maintain compliance with university cost guidelines

Required qualifications

• Experience in accounting or finance-related roles
• Knowledge of compliance regulations and financial reporting
• Ability to analyze financial data and generate reports
• Familiarity with cost policies in an educational or institutional setting
• Proficiency in financial software or systems used for accounting tasks
