Accounting Director

Job Summary

Overseeing all aspects of accounting and financial operations, the fully remote Accounting Director will ensure compliance with ASC 842, manage general ledger activities, and implement the NetSuite system while leading a high-performing team.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes and general ledger activities
• Ensure compliance with ASC 842 and manage the preparation of financial reports, including Form 990
• Develop and implement internal control policies and provide strategic guidance on accounting issues

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position
• Hands-on experience in operational accounting and knowledge of ASC 842 and NetSuite
• Experience with financial reporting, tax, investment, and payroll functions
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing team
