Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Managing key accounting activities, the remote Accounting Manager will oversee month-end close processes, revenue recognition, and financial reporting while mentoring team members and collaborating with FP&A and executive leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Review and prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and complex GL entries as needed
• Partner with FP&A to prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with US GAAP standards
• Train and mentor accounting staff, while monitoring emerging GAAP standards and implementing necessary controls

Required qualifications

• 10 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
• Bachelor's degree with a concentration in accounting or finance
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong MS Office literacy
• Solid understanding of GAAP, financial regulations, and accounting best practices
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in developing teams and fostering cross-functional relationships
