Accounting Manager
Job Summary
Managing the day-to-day accounting functions, the full-time Accounting Manager will oversee the monthly close, financial reporting, and technical revenue accounting while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements
- Apply revenue recognition under ASC 606 and manage accounting for high-volume transactional revenue
- Serve as the primary liaison to external auditors, managing audit planning and compliance documentation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or management role
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and hands-on experience applying ASC 606
- Direct experience supporting external financial statement audits
- Hands-on experience with an ERP or accounting platform
