Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Overseeing key general accounting functions in a fully remote capacity, the full-time Accounting Manager will manage month-end close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, accounts payable operations, and financial reporting while coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders and managing offshore accounting resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly close process, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and established timelines
• Oversee the preparation and review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items
• Manage offshore accounts payable representatives, ensuring adherence to service expectations and accounting policies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leading close processes and maintaining internal controls
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, accounts payable, and financial reporting
• Experience managing outsourced or offshore accounting resources
• Proficiency with ERP and accounts payable workflow systems
