Accounting Manager
Job Summary
Hands-on and detail-oriented, the full-time Accounting Manager will own the accounting function, managing monthly close processes, US GAAP financials, and audits while working remotely or from the Miami office.
Key responsibilities
- Own the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close and US GAAP consolidation across six entities, ensuring a reliable close in 10 working days or fewer
- Lead technical accounting analysis, including revenue recognition and customer wallet balances, providing recommendations to the CFO
- Manage statutory accounts and tax compliance with external advisers, including corporate tax and VAT
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally in public accounting or a complex, multi-entity business
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including ASC 606 and principal versus agent judgements
- Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency close and external audits
- Proficiency in ERP systems, ideally NetSuite, with a focus on process automation
- Experience operating internal controls in an audited environment
