Accounting Manager
Job Summary
Owning the day-to-day accounting function, the full-time Accounting Manager will manage the monthly close, ensure integrity of financials, and lead technical accounting analysis while working remotely or onsite in New York.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close and US GAAP consolidation across multiple entities, ensuring a reliable close
- Lead technical accounting analysis and recommend positions to the CFO, ensuring proper implementation
- Manage statutory accounts and tax compliance, while improving internal controls and accounting processes
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally in a complex, multi-entity environment
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, particularly ASC 606 and principal versus agent judgements
- Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency close and external audits
- Hands-on ERP experience, preferably with NetSuite, focusing on process improvement through automation
- Proven ability to lead and develop accounting teams in a fast-paced environment
