Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Owning the monthly close and day-to-day accounting operations, the full-time Accounting Manager will ensure general ledger accuracy, timely financial reporting, and the enhancement of accounting processes in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the monthly close process, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Develop and maintain accounting policies while partnering with the Controller on complex transactions
• Identify opportunities for automation and drive improvements to enhance the efficiency and scalability of accounting operations

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a high-growth or rapidly scaling organization
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA and Big 4 experience preferred
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ability to research accounting questions independently
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
• Technical proficiency with modern tools and AI for automating workflows and building financial systems
