Job Summary
Supervising the General Ledger Team, the full-time Accounting Manager will ensure timely and accurate completion of financial close activities and payroll processing while working remotely from Colorado or Ohio.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the General Ledger Team to ensure compliance with GAAP during financial close activities
- Prepare, review, and post journal entries, including payroll journal entries and reconciliations
- Support the Senior Director of Accounting with special projects and respond to inquiries regarding financial results
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, math, or a related field; preference for a degree in accounting
- 5+ years of General Ledger accounting experience, with 2-3 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting processes
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
- Experience with automated accounting systems, preferably Oracle
