Managing the monthly close and general ledger accounting process, the full-time Accounting Manager will oversee accounts payable and general ledger functions for Paya Holdings while working remotely on a 10-month maternity leave contract.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the monthly close and general ledger accounting process
- Oversee accounts payable and general ledger accounting, including fixed assets and payroll
- Review journal entries, vendor invoices, and financial statements while ensuring compliance with IFRS
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; CPA or CPA Candidate preferred
- 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a corporate or mixed public and corporate environment
- Experience with NetSuite preferred
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills and a desire to contribute beyond the Finance & Accounting discipline
