Accounting Manager, CPG

Job Summary

To support a growing portfolio of fast-paced consumer brands, the full-time remote Accounting Manager, CPG will manage month-end close processes, prepare financial statements, and lead a team of accountants while ensuring high-quality client service and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close processes and prepare monthly financial statements for a portfolio of clients
• Engage with clients to deliver high-quality accounting services and act as the primary point of contact for their needs
• Mentor and delegate tasks to a team of accountants, enhancing training opportunities and workflow efficiency

Required Qualifications

• At least 6 years of operational accounting experience, with multi-client experience required
• Experience with full cycle accounting for consumer product or food & beverage companies
• Working knowledge of inventory management systems such as Dear or Cin7 Core
• An undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Proficiency in QBO or Netsuite and Shopify, along with advanced Excel skills
