Accounting Manager - GA Licensed

Job Summary

To support the Voya IM Controllership team, the full-time remote Accounting Manager - GA Licensed will manage the preparation and review of financial statements, oversee employee compensation accounting, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while fostering team development and process improvements.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare and review legal entity financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS
• Lead compliance with regulatory bodies and represent the firm in external audits and committees
• Oversee accounting for employee compensation programs and ensure compliance with accounting guidance

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• 6-8 years of progressive accounting experience, particularly in financial reporting and expense management
• 5 years of experience managing a corporate project or function
• Comprehensive knowledge of current accounting and financial reporting standards
• CPA and/or MBA preferred; public accounting experience is strongly preferred
