Job Summary
Leading a specialized team of Senior Accountants, the full-time remote Accounting Manager, NC Licensed will oversee credit loss reserves, customer disputes, and AR accounting, ensuring compliance with GAAP while collaborating with senior leadership on strategic accounting matters.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensures timely and accurate delivery of financial information to stakeholders
- Leads, coaches, and develops a team of Senior Accountants across various functional areas
- Reviews and approves account reconciliations, journal entries, and reserve calculations for compliance with GAAP
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 7-10 years of relevant work experience, including AR/credit reserves and reconciliations
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, ASC 326, and ASC 606 revenue recognition guidance
- Excellent people management skills with experience in coaching and mentoring
- Ability to evaluate macroeconomic conditions and adjust reserving methodology accordingly
