Accounting Operations Manager

Job Summary

Leading day-to-day transactional accounting operations, the full-time remote Accounting Operations Manager will manage accounts payable and receivable, cash application, payment execution, and expense administration while driving process improvements and ensuring accurate financial transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable and vendor operations, including invoice processing, vendor onboarding, and issue resolution
• Manage accounts receivable processes, focusing on cash application, collections coordination, and working capital administration
• Enhance internal controls and accounting policies while leading process improvement initiatives across transactional accounting

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered
• 5+ years of progressive experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or finance operations with supervisory responsibilities
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems and payment platforms, with a preference for those who have improved finance processes
• Strong knowledge of procure-to-pay and order-to-cash processes, including payment controls and cash application
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data and implement practical process improvements in a high-volume environment
