Accounting Operations Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting the organization's revenue cycle and accounting operations, the full-time remote Accounting Operations Specialist will manage clinical research sponsor billing and collections, payment reconciliation, and financial reporting support while identifying opportunities for workflow improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, submit, and manage sponsor invoices and monitor accounts receivable for timely collections
• Perform quality control reviews of clinical research budgets and validate billing triggers against contracts
• Assist with month-end close processes, including account reconciliations and financial reporting support

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management, healthcare finance, or related fields
• Experience managing billing, collections, and accounts receivable processes
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including proficiency with complex formulas and data analysis
• Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements in financial workflows
