Accounting Representative

Job Summary

To support the accounting team remotely, the full-time Accounting Representative will manage the contract labor process, assist with accounts payable issues, and perform general ledger reconciliations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the contract labor process including contractor setups and weekly check support communications
• Assist in resolving procurement accounts payable aging issues and perform reconciliation of general ledger account activity
• Support internal and external audit requirements while continuing to improve accounting knowledge through education and training

Required qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, or equivalent experience with two years in a related area; or a High School diploma with additional coursework and six years of directly related experience
• High clerical accuracy and independent judgment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
• Strong interpersonal skills
