Accounting Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing finance team, the full-time salaried Accounting Specialist will manage day-to-day accounting tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and project billing, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Process vendor and contractor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company controls
• Prepare and post customer and project invoices, monitoring billing completeness and assisting with collections
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and account reconciliations, supporting month-end close activities

Required qualifications

• 2-4 years of hands-on accounting experience, including accounts payable and receivable
• Proficiency in Sage Intacct and SAP Concur for accounting transactions and expense management
• Strong understanding of debits, credits, and general ledger coding
• Experience preparing bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
• Associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
